Please read this before relying on any figure NISAAB shows you.
By accessing or using the NISAAB website ("the Site"), including its salary tax calculator, blog, and services pages, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.
The calculator on this Site produces an indicative estimate of monthly and annual salary tax based on publicly notified FBR slab rates. It is a planning tool, not an official tax return, assessment, or withholding statement, and it has no legal standing with the Federal Board of Revenue or any other authority. NISAAB is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the FBR or the Government of Pakistan.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the slab rates, thresholds, and surcharge rules used by the calculator aligned with the currently notified Finance Act. However, tax law can change, be amended, or be subject to differing interpretation, and your actual tax liability may depend on circumstances the calculator does not account for — such as non-salary income, specific exemptions, or employer-specific allowances. Always confirm your final figures with your employer's payroll department, your own annual return, or a registered tax practitioner before making financial decisions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NISAAB and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from reliance on figures, breakdowns, or PDF slips generated by this Site, including any underpayment, overpayment, penalty, or missed deadline. The Site and its calculator are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to disrupt its normal operation, scraping content for republishing without permission, or using it in any way that violates applicable Pakistani law.
All original content on this Site — including its design, text, illustrations, and the NISAAB name and mark — is the property of NISAAB and may not be reproduced or redistributed without prior written permission, except for your own personal, non-commercial use (such as saving a generated PDF slip for your own records).
Where you engage NISAAB for a paid consulting service listed on our Services page, that engagement will be governed by a separate agreement or engagement letter setting out scope, fees, and responsibilities, in addition to these general Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from use of this Site shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Punjab.
We may revise these Terms from time to time, particularly to reflect changes in tax law or Site functionality. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the latest version.
